Release & Restore: Healing Stress & Trauma Held in the Body

Why This Work Was Created

Inspired by the need for safe, accessible stress and trauma release—particularly among young adults, veterans, first responders, and domestic-violence survivors—Release & Restore™ was created as a trauma-informed approach to healing without requiring people to relive their past or pain.

The Method

Drawing on more than 6,000 hours of formal training in energy and sound healing, Janet shares how the body may hold overwhelming experiences—and how supportive, calming modalities can help create the felt safety needed for release.

This presentation explores three complementary approaches:

  • Crystal singing bowl sound baths to support the brainstem and the body’s survival response
  • Energy clearing to support the limbic system, or emotional brain
  • Guided meditation to engage the cerebrum, the thinking and reasoning brain

Together, these practices support the vagus nerve and the body’s natural capacity for relaxation, regulation, resilience, and restoration.

What Attendees Experience

Attendees receive an abbreviated experience of the Release & Restore™ process and leave with:

  • A clearer understanding of trauma-informed, non-retraumatizing healing approaches
  • Renewed hope for healing and emotional well-being
  • Inspiration to explore deeper support for themselves or someone they care about
